Melvin Wells (Stymie)

Hello, my name is Melvin Wells aka Stymie,

I was born in Orlando, Fl on June 4, 1943, raised in San Diego, Ca. I graduated from San Diego High School where I held numerous track and field records, also the city's Cross Country record for over 30 years. For as long as I can remember I was always fond of fast and furious cars. My first exciting "dance with speed" was realized when I owned a 1961 Jaguar, now that was something to write home about. As I grew into adulthood my fascination with fast cars grew, I turned towards the sleekest, sexiest ride on the road... the All American Car; The Chevy Corvette.

Upon arriving in Pasadena, Ca in 1967, I met a good partner of mine who, in 1973 bought a super clean Corvette right off the showroom floor. My love for hot rods, hot rides, and hot women grew even stronger, reaching the tipping point. In seeing all the exotic & classy cars that were sp prevalent around the SoCal area, I was ecstatic!. I then realized just how much I had developed into a Corvette Enthusiast. In my later years, I was able to acquire a lustrous, black 1085 Corvette. I immediately & appropriately dubbed it "The Black Stallion" Boy, that was one HOT ride.

Moving on from there and continuing my ambitious ride upward, I took a great liking to the song "Little Red Corvette" by Prince. Being that as it may, I was inspired to get my own 1998 "Little Blue Corvette" complete with shiny Ashanti rims and a sound system that would make the heavenly angels proud. Seeking other elite-minded individuals with whom I can share my enthusiasm with, I serendipity came across "Elite Corvettes of Southern California" which has been dynamite. You absolutely won't find a better group of people anywhere and all the member are just sensational. Come check us out for yourselves and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Continuing my thirst for adult toys, I also added to my growing list a vintage custom 1973 454 Chevy Truck, a real oldie but goodie. Old school to new school, it's all good!
